Our main focus for the first 4 weeks of term 3 was Wearable arts. Wearable arts is where you have to make a garment out of recycled clothes. There were 8 catagories that we could enter. They were, black and white(every thing had to be black and white, not grey) Cultural(make a garment that represents a countries culture) Cartoon character(make a mask that is a cartoon character) Down on the farm(using materials that are from down on the farm, make a garment that repesents agriculture) Night Out(make a garment that is suitable for the year 8 ball) Sport(make a garment that can be worn by New Zealand athletes to the opening ceremony of the commonwealth games) Me and Me friend Connor made a garment in the cultural section. We did the Spanish culture and made a Matador(bullfighter) This our end product 
Our garment made it into the semi finals and then the finals. from there, we came third place in the cultural section
